When you’re installing a boiler or furnace system, you will probably just need to have a professional slot the new system into the same spot the old one occupied. It will take a bit of construction work to install each air handler in the rooms throughout the house, as well as electrical work to hook everything up properly.

Our licensed, insured, and highly trained team can help you with the installation of your new ductless HVAC system. It’s highly recommended that you do not try to install a ductless HVAC system on your own, due to the complexity of the job. For professional ductless heater/air conditioner installation services in Ashburn, call AllTech Services, Inc..

We Offer Full Ductless Repair and Maintenance Services

Just like all other HVAC systems, you probably want to have your ductless system last as long as possible. The longer it goes without having to be replaced, the more of a return on your investment you get. In order to make that happen, there are two things you need to do.

First, you need to make sure that you schedule preventive maintenance for your ductless system at least once a year. Most ductless problems can cause incredible damage to the system before they start to exhibit any noticeable external symptoms. So, have an expert closely examine your system at least once a year to make sure that everything is alright.

Second, if and when a problem does come up, you should call for repairs immediately. You may not have been able to totally prevent a problem from occurring, but you can certainly mitigate the damage from the problem as much as possible. Call AllTech Services, Inc. with questions, or to set up an appointment with one of our experts.

How Ductless Heating Systems Work

A ductless system is a type of heat pump, save that it doesn’t use ducts to transport air throughout the house. Instead, it uses a series of individual air handlers, with one installed in each room of the house. Each air handler is equipped with its own thermostat, which allows it to operate separately from the rest of the system. Each individual air handler, up to 4 of them, is attached to a unit installed outside of the house through power and refrigerant lines.

When in heating mode, the outside part of the ductless system evaporates refrigerant to absorb thermal energy from the surrounding air. It then sends the refrigerant gas to the air handlers, which condense it back into liquid to release heat into the home.

Ductless systems also include a part called a reversing valve, which allows them to act as both heating and air conditioning systems.
